I want a polished finish for this ash Jaguar body - but I also want a super-thin nitro coat. Here's how I achieve a high gloss in just six, *(or seven) steps.
So much to catch up on... Next up - polishing the nitro finish coat on my Warmoth JagStang body. I'm looking for a simplified process to save time, and to help prevent rubbing through the thin lacquer coats.
Polishing up the nitro clearcoat on a repainted, Fender Squier J. Mascis Jazzmaster body. The original "Antique White", body has been re-finished in a custom "Candy Apple Red". (Translucent Red over "Shoreline Gold").
Finishing the painted headstock on my Musikraft custom Jaguar neck. A few gremlins in the detail - but maybe I just have to live with some of my practical limitations, and focus on the overall effect.
Repairing damage to the neck pocket area - where an over-tightened neck plate has compressed the body wood, and split the polyester finish.
